Growing up in the Midwest, Brian spent more than a decade as a competitive gymnast, and has been studying martial-arts since he was a child. His skill set also includes things as diverse as rappelling, horse-back riding, fire-burns, high-falls, rappelling and wire-work… to name a few!
At the time of filming, Brian was the director and co-founder of Asylum Stunts in Chicago. The company was originally developed with the needs of non-equity projects in mind, so that smaller shops and productions could have access to professional-quality stunt performers and training. Asylum since expanded to SAG/AFTRA work, music videos, motion capture, and working with Equity theatre productions. In addition, the company runs a gym where both aspiring and experienced stunt performers train, and often use it to train actors who performing their own stunts and to rehearse scenes and audition performers. In June 2016 Brian relocated to Arizona and started Asylum Stunts Southwest. He has been a guest instructor at Arizona State University, Artesia Arts Council, and offers stunt training sessions at Desert Devils Gymnastics in Mesa, Arizona.
