At the time of filming, R. Charles Wilkerson was a recent transplant to Chicago but, in the time he spent here, he made the most of it. He appeared as Fly in the Goodman Theatre’s production of Sweet Bird of Youth, which starred Diane Lane; and he filmed the video game Watch_Dogs with Ubisoft in Montreal, Canada. He also appeared in Victory Gardens Theater’s One-Minute Play Festival. His regional credits include The Intervention at Live Arts and A Raisin in the Sun at the Arkansas Arts Center. Other credits include Dreamgirls at the McLinn Ross Theatre, The Imaginary Invalid at the Helms Theatre and A Midsummer Night’s Dream and The Two Gentlemen of Verona at the Culbreth Theater. Mr. Wilkerson is a proud member of both The Actors’ Equity Association and The Screen Actor’s Guild-The American Federation of Television and Radio Artist. He holds an MFA in Acting from the University of Virginia.
